A charity Gala performance in Slutsk…

The city of Slutsk is located within the 250km radius of Minsk, the area covered by the BCH, and three of our patients live there. We were delighted to support the charity Gala performance organised by the Belarusian Republican Youth Movement in their aid.

The concert took place on February 5 and the list of performers was very impressive: Larisa Gribaleva, Ksenia Sinik, Anastasia Tikhanovich, Svetlana Statzenko, Kraski, Petere Elfimov, Lesya Kodush, Slava Nagorny, Alexander Tikhanovich, Andrey Shumak, Andrey Kunetz, solo artists from the National Music Centre named after Muliavin, the break-dance national team and other Belarusian performers. The event lasted over three hours and there was no time for anyone to get bored.

The viewers enjoyed all of the performances but they were particularly taken with Anna Gorchakova (who coincidentally is a namesake of the Director of the BCH). This young lady impressed everyone with her ballroom dancing routine — whilst being confined to a wheelchair.

We hope that Polina Sytko, Pasha Ageyko and Pasha Yaroshevitch, our patients living in Slutsk, felt supported by the entire city and it would help them to feel better. We also hope that Slutsk set a good example to other cities.
