Round table meeting within the project «Development of the provision of support services for children with disabilities and their families,» implemented with the support of the International Children's Foundation was held on February 25, 2011.

The meeting was attended by: Director of International Children's Fund Representative in Belarus, I. N. Mironova, representative of the Ministry of Health of Belarus T. K. Matusevich, representative of the Ministry of Education T. P. Kuntsevich, representative of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare E. M. Komlik, chairman of the «BelAPDiMI» E. T. Titova, Director of the TsKROiR of Partyzansky district of  Minsk L. G. Drozd, director of the Belarusian Children's Hospice A. G. Gorchakova, representatives of parents of disabled children E. I. Zaenkovskaya and N. I. Vopnyarskaya as well as project manager I. V. Boydakova.

Roundtable program was following:

1. Coverage of the «Development of the provision of support services for children with disabilities and their families» (presentation by I. V. Boydakova)

2. Presentation of the «Social Respite» (A. G. Gorchakova).

3. Discussion

Parents also took an active part in the discussion and supported the idea of ​​distribution of the services «Social Respite» in public institutions. At the end of the round table a resolution in which all parties supported the concept of service «Social Respite» on the basis of public institutions was adopted — a document created by experts. Thus, the participants decided to refer this project to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, March 1, 2011.
