In-patient Care
We have 2 rooms for children with cancer who need 24-hour in-patient care. These rooms are decorated in a homely style with en-suite toilets and access to a kitchen. Parents can live in these rooms with their children as well.

This programme has two main purposes. Firstly, a child and parent can stay here for a week after being discharged from hospital and before going home. During their stay, the parent will be trained how to provide the child’s necessary care at home and how to use any specialist equipment. Secondly, we use these rooms if a child needs continuous medical care. This is usually end of life care and, in these circumstances, there is not a limit to how long a child and parent can stay at the Belarussian Children’s Hospice.
