![]() A musical performance by the hospice's children took place on Wednesday, January 12… On a Path to a Dream or a Musical Fantasy, a musical performance by the hospice's children and volunteers, formed a part of the photographic exhibition organised by the BCH together with the Belarusian Union of Artists, held between December 23, 2009 and January 17, 2010. It was a free event for all to enjoy. The children and volunteers arrived almost two hours before the beginning of the performance, keen to share the excitement of the occasion with each other. Before the performance, the children checked out the stage and rehearsed the musical like real professionals. Around 12 o'clock visitors started to arrive, including students and lecturers of Minsk State Linguists University, representatives of Belarus State Arts and Culture University, representatives of the International Women's Club, Belarusian newspaper and television journalists and other guests.
As always, our children outshined themselves in a successful performance of the musical. The representatives of Yuny Spasatel' newspaper decided that all children who took place in the show deserved recognition and presented them with gifts. At the end of the show everyone was invited to view the exhibition in the lobby. It was the first opportunity for the children to see their professionally framed photographs and, judging by their happy faces, they were very pleased with the results!
On Friday, January 15, both Nashe Utro television program on ONT Channel and Znamia Yunosti newspaper will publicise the event. The BCH would like to thank Alexander Zinkevich, the Director of the Palace Arts, and Anna Grinevich, his Deputy, for their support in organising the event. We thank Ludmilla Gurko, the Chairwoman of the International Women's' Club, for her interest in our event. We are grateful to Yuny Spasatel' newspaper for presenting the children with their gifts. We thank visitors from Belarus State Arts and Culture University and Minsk State Linguists University (and Vera Malyavko in particular!) for attending our performance and exhibition. We thank the commanding officer of the Military Unit 3214 Colonel Dmitry Pavlichenko and Unit soldiers for attending the event. Finally, we would like to thank mass media representatives for their attention to the BCH's cause and the hospice's children.
