We have published a new book about psychological help for parents…

Brochure «Psychological aspects of palliative care: Work with parents» was published with financial support from the U. S. Embassy under the project" Development of Social Initiatives in the sphere of improvement of the quality of life for families with seriously ill children in Belarus affected by the Chernobyl accident" Small Grants Program of the U. S. Embassy.

The book describes the psychological characteristics of parents of a terminally ill child, the stage of making the diagnosis, the impact of illness on family relationships. Separate chapter presents the experience of the Belarusian Children's Hospice collected during the program «Parents' Club».

The manual is primarily addressed to psychologists, staff of governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the field of family counseling and psychotherapy.
