The first shift in our Summer House began….

On Friday, July 1, 2011 Summer Holiday Hospice for handicapped children of the Belarusian Children's Hospice was opened. This day 12 children, hospice employees and volunteers packed their suitcases and left for a wonderful journey called «Summer House».

As usually, the shift will last for two memorable weeks. There will be competitions, concerts, games, songs at the fire, trips to the lake, fancy-balls and a lot of other interesting things for the children.

This year our summer program starts unusually late: the delay was due to repairing of one of the buildings and land improvements. Therefore there will be only four shifts instead of five. First three shifts are meant for handicapped children, and the fourth one is for siblings of seriously ill children.

Besides, together with recreation of their children, families will have a chance to rehabilitate in the parents' house also located in the village of Zabrodie, Stolbtsy district of Minsk region.

The first shift will last till July 14, 2011, and on Friday, July 15 our Holiday Hospice will welcome other children.
